Our Escape Over the Calf is a versatile performance sock with a great fit and feel. This lightly cushioned sock features hidden terry loops from heel to toe for all-day comfort hiking the trails, walking the dog, or working in the office.

Blister-Free Sock Fiber Content
These anti-blister hiking socks are composed largely of eco-friendly RRecycled Polyester—materials made from recycled plastic bottles. By choosing Wrightsock, you can enjoy blister-free hiking adventures while protecting the world beneath your feet.

Double Layer Seamless Toe
Wrightsock's Double Layer styles offer a seamless toe like most performance socks do these days; however, as you can see on the below images, Wrightsock's seamless toe looks a bit different. This is due to the required attachments that connect the inner and outer layers together for our Double Layer system.
Even though it looks a bit odd, our seamless toe acts and feels the same on your foot as any other seamless toe design.

I find that for walking and hiking, socks are just as important as your shoes…if not more important! Wright Socks are essential in preventing blisters…that has been my experience. Absolutely love them!

Socks stay put all day, good support, warm
The Escape Over the Calf socks are very comfortable and warm for the winter, and I know I will not get any blisters. Wrightsock exchanged a pair that I was having a problem with promptly.
I have a wool sensitivity.These socks are not as thick as my wool socks but they seem warm enough.

Great socks to wear with long pants and casual yet dressier shoes that stay above the calf and do not slide down to my ankles. I second the motion for more colors than just black ... like browns and blues.
