American Made
Wrightsock: American Made Since 1948
Wrightsock has been proudly made in the USA since 1948—long before we carried the name Wrightsock. What began as a small, family-owned knitting operation in Burlington, North Carolina has grown into a third-generation American sock manufacturer committed to quality, innovation, and community.
Our entire team—from production to operations—comes from Burlington and neighboring towns. Every pair of socks we knit reflects decades of craftsmanship, heritage, and dedication to keeping American manufacturing alive.
More than 90% of all materials used in our socks are sourced in the United States, reinforcing our promise to deliver a truly American-made product from yarn to finished garment.
American-Supplied Materials
We take pride not only in American manufacturing, but also in American sourcing. Our core fibers come from suppliers we’ve trusted for years—materials known for durability, performance, and responsible production:
-
Unifi REPREVE® Recycled Polyester
Produced in Greensboro, North Carolina. This premium recycled fiber helps reduce waste while delivering the moisture-wicking performance our athletes and outdoor enthusiasts rely on. -
Merino Wool by KentWool Yarns®
Sourced from Pickens, South Carolina. Our American-Made wool socks feature soft, high-grade Merino designed for comfort, insulation, and long-lasting wear.
By partnering with American suppliers, we ensure that every Wrightsock product represents quality you can trust—and craftsmanship you can feel with every step.
