No matter your distance or pace, these Running II (2nd iteration) will give you perfect performance. They are just as good as the earlier Max Cushion, Running II (1st iteration) and Racer. So good, in fact, that I broke the rule of "not using new equipment on race day" by breaking out a new pair of Wright socks for my first marathon. That's how confident I was. The result? Perfection. I wash mine by hand, every day, with the rest of my kit, when I get home. That way, they last longer. Also, U.S.A.-made means something to me.
The WrightSocks II Crew are great! they are the best running socks ever made. I discovered them when I was doing long distance running at Camp Pendleton, CA when I was in the USMC from 87-93. I bought a few pair @ Road Runner sports in 1990 (I think) and ran a few marathons and 1/2 marathons and thousands of miles and no blisters, EVER. They are great. Expensive, but worth it. They are hard to find, but worth it when you do. I love them. Well made, using recycled plastic (which I did not know) and they last forever. The ones that I have worn out (30 years old or more) I wear the to sleep in. And KIM, the girl who took care of me, provided fantastic service. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making them and making them available.
I have been running in these socks for years. I use to get blisters, but since running in these socks I have never had one. The socks are expensive and don't last as long as I would like them too However, since running in them I have had no issues with my feet. They are a great sck
