Mystery Bags

Size of one pair seemed a little off, but for the most part I am happy with the bag.

Disappointed! I bought 2 mystery bags and received 3 of the SAME Exact socks (so I had 2 duplicate pairs of 3 that were the same). To make it worse, I ordered size medium, but in the bag I had 2 pairs socks that were size 14; and 3 other pairs that did not have any labels that identified the size.

I bought two packs and both were the same: one pair dark charcoal Merino CoolMesh II ankle socks, two pairs light gray WrightSock DLX ankle socks, one medium gray crew-length WrightSock, and one gray/black over-the-calf WrightSock. So I got three ankle socks and two crew+ length socks. I normally don't wear ankle socks but knew from the reviews I'd get some. But I am wearing the socks for casual use around town so they are acceptable to wear even on the train in Bangkok, so not a big deal. Nice and cool for over here anyway. Plus the DLX socks have a nice, thick material to them. Since even one of the crew+ length socks may run around $20, depending on where you buy them, getting five socks for $25 is a good deal. Also the colors I got was nothing wild and crazy.

I bought two mystery bags because the website says buy “two mystery bags of Wrightsocks get one free”. What a deal I thought!

But….I got three pairs of wrightsocks in each bag plus one pair of “smart socks” and one pair of “pro feet inc” socks.

I have no idea what or who makes Smart Socks or Pro Feet Inc socks, but I guess they are the same company as Wrightsock? They certainly don’t seem to be the same high quality as the Wrightsocks I’ve worn for the last 15 years both in and out of the military.

Maybe they are just as good? But it shouldn’t matter-the advertising says “ 5 pairs of Wrightsock socks in the same size. These can include discontinued styles and colors. Your mystery bag could include socks with logos on discontinued colors/styles. Guaranteed retail value of $60 for only $25!” But six pairs (out of the three mystery bags purchased). are from a brand OTHER than Wrightsock.

I know they were “mystery bags”…but they were advertised as mystery bags of WRIGHTSOCKS.

What a great value for stocking stuffers for my whole family - got one bag each of large and medium and everyone from kids to adults will be so happy!!

I liked every one of the socks in the mystery bag this time. I saved the wrappers so I can look them up and reorder.

Usually, packages like this have a few items that are not what we would select. However, every pair in the package was great. My wife and I had to do a bit of trading since there was not a bad pair in the bunch. And the icing... several different styles, no bad colors, all excellent.

The bag option had the perfect assortment for 4 seasons. Best deal ever!

Definitely seems like cast offs, returns or seconds. Lacks the typical quality I had expected from Wrightsock.

The variety is large but I only liked half of them. Found out I do not like tab socks nor very high (thigh high) socks. I'm guessing the discount was half off, but I wouldn't order these again.

Bought a bag for my son and though the socks are great, 3 of the 5 pairs are colors he won't wear. It would be nice if there were options like "male", "female", or "don't care", and then colors in the bag might be more amenable to the wearer. Will likely donate the socks as we don't have a use for them personally but they're still nice.

Don't let the price of socks scare you. They just last really long and are cheaper in the long run. Also the mystery bags are fun you never know what your going to get.

Good socks at a good price.

All but one of the pairs were short in height. Not interested in them. You should have two types of mystery bags. One for running and one for longer height.

Very nice quality and fit perfectly before and after laundering. No more sore toenails. I have hammer toes and these sock prevents all the rubbing. This should prevent the callous. Oh, I will be buying more of these socks soon.

My bag contained 5 pairs of socks which I thought was a great value. It comes tucked in a wrightsock string backpack which I now use to hold my phone when Im out running. I thought it was fun because it was all a surprise. Turned out I got some great socks in cool colors I might not have normally purchased. I highly reccomend.

The M bag had some green usual height socks. Too many threads dangling.

I have a runner who has already run through the outer layer of my Wright double-layer socks so I got the mystery bag so he could try other double-layer styles. 4 out of 5 ain't bad; the 5th was long over the calf which he would never wear to run and he will likely give them to me. I might have him take them to Philmont in case he ends up with a blister issue. Generally a good deal and a great way to try other double-layer styles.

Nice socks for myself and husband

Overall happy but I did order men’s medium and received two pairs of women’s socks.

This is the second time I've ordered a mystery bag. They are fun to receive and see what's in the bag! I was pleased with the variety the first time, and again this second time. Two pair happened to be the same in the two different orders, which were placed 6 months apart (one neon yellow, and one dark striped). Even though I would not have ordered some of these socks on my own, they will all be worn. Double layer socks have proven to be blister free for me on my runs and hikes!

I bought two sets for my wife and I for Christmas. We won't open them until Christmas, so I'll let you know. I think it is a good deal. Love your socks.

I bought this in hopes that I would get some good socks and I got great socks! I received two pairs of crew socks (including the wool ones I usually buy), one pair of quarter, one lo quarter and one tab. A great deal!

Very happy with the quality of the socks I received. While some I wouldn't have ordered, they're actually great so I'm glad I got them. At $8 a pair they're half what they usually cost.

A good deal, but more socks than one of us needs. A two-size deal would be great, even if somewhat less discounted.

I received some pretty good socks, but multiple duplicates and multiple female colors. (I'm male). I guess that I thought I ordered male socks, but there is no option. I received several pink and purple ones. Anyways, good deal if not very picky, but you may get both male and female colors. They were happy to exchange so I am sending back 10 of the 15 socks. It's a little bit of a gamble. Great service though!
