Wouldn’t order merino version again

Merino, while ‘warmer’, not as slippery as regular coolmesh, therefore not as blister-preventing. Which is why i buy Wright socks.

They are short

I bought two pairs of merino socks, one Crew and another Quarter, both size M. The Crew fit nicely, the Quarter are too small. When I compare the two, the Quarter are physically about half an inch shorter.
Too bad they don't have free return policy.

Hi Riwut,

We're sorry to hear that the Merino CoolMesh Quarter was not what you were hoping for, however we do in-fact have a free return policy. Simply contact us at detailing what the issue is and request a return label, once we receive your returned items we can issue either a replacement or refund, whichever is your preference. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

Evaluation of product.

Comcept is good and makes sense, so I purchased a pair. At $19 a pair it would be expensive to purchase enough to do a good personal trial. Jury has not come to a verdict as of yet.

No good

These are no good. A little bit of damp and the inner layer is both squishy and bunching. Tried out darn tuff socks wool socks that I like pretty well and hoped these would be a step up but they are not. Would not recommend at all.

Hi Ivana,

We're sorry to hear that the Coolmesh Merino did not live up to your expectations. While the double layer design does wick away moisture it's designed for handling sweaty feet or very brief exposure to wet conditions. However, if you're hiking or running through wet conditions constantly the Coolmesh Merino will wick away the moisture over time, but it will take about an hour maybe two for most of that moisture to be removed from the inner layer which in turn can cause the bunching you mention. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to us at Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
